As we transition from winter to spring, the world around us awakens and we too ease out of rest and into a more energetic season. Over the course of the coming months, we’ll experience the ebbs and flows of navigating our unique paths ahead, but ultimately the truth we can all come back to is allowing the sun to shine down upon us — to allow ourselves to be seen. For this alone is an act of love in itself.

Stepping into your light with the Page of Swords as your guide is to enter a season of possibility. It’s time to explore your curiosities, speak your truth, feed your mind, and create a strategy aligned with your vision. The Page of Swords is the lightbulb moment card of the Tarot — filled with new ideas and a surge of inspiration you simply can’t ignore. This is figuratively, and possibly literally, returning to the seat of the student out of pure passion and interest, not obligation. The Page of Swords urges you to sign up for that class, learn that untouched skill, take up that new hobby, and dust off the shoes of the childhood interests you once set aside. A reverent act of self love and a quest for knowledge all in one.

When your mind is fed, your very essence is captivating in a way that says I am satiated. I give myself exactly what it is I am craving — a Michelin meal for the soul. I am embodied. I explore every which way before me. Why? Because I can and I will. I move through the room with charisma and curiosity, walking hand in hand with grace and intentionality.

This card teaches us that getting curious, asking questions, and broadening your mind is what allows us to step into a light all our own. No more hiding in the shadows. No more doom-scrolling when we could have been doing that thing we keep saying we’re going to do, but “maybe next week…” We’ve all been there.

“The exploration of your own fulfillment is what will awaken an iridescent glow within you that’s impossible to bottle up and keep small.”

You’re ready to start — to take that step towards the venture that’s been knocking at your door. To say yes to learning something new. Marrying the act of exploring your curiosity with the momentum and acceleration this year naturally brings is a recipe for your evolution. By taking that first step in answering the call, you unlock doors to a world that has been safely tucked away in your dreams, transmuting it into your reality.

I’ve learned this first hand through the many rebirth cycles of my professional life, due in part to the mentality of “if I don’t at least try, I’ll always wonder ‘what if?’” The early chapters of my career were spent confined to a cubicle as a social media analyst before I transitioned to fashion styling, essentially starting over from scratch, in my late twenties. Courses at FIT in the evenings, cold emails to meet for hot coffees, warming up my muscles in the industry wherever I could. It was a matter of mere months before I was consistently freelancing, and eventually went full-time with an in-house team styling for luxury e-commerce.

It was within that era I was offered an opportunity to write for publications as a stylist expert — what started as contributing shopping and trend stories for an independent magazine led to bylines in Forbes, Byrdie, Bustle, and The Zoe Report. Styling and shooting on set by day, writing by night.

All the while, I continued unraveling that ball of thread further and further. Outside of fashion, I spent every free minute of my time absorbing all I could within the wellness, spirituality, and self-development space. During Covid, in the height of my Saturn Return, I gave my first card reading and my world was forever changed. I felt the outer body experience of purpose. An energetic exchange in the auric field. I knew, right there and then, my path was not one cleanly paved, but one I would be stitching by hand every step of the way.

Which brings us to today, continuing to weave the threads in my tapestry. Continuing to allow myself to be seen by venturing down new paths, to be curious, and to decide each day to begin — again.
